Project skills are career skills
In any role you do, you are highly likely to be working together with a team on a project - that is, a piece of work with a start, middle, and end. You'll need to develop all sorts of skills like future visioning, developing objectives, communicating your plans, leading and influencing, and responding to changes. These are all crucial to projects large and small.
That's why the Alliance is on a mission to engage with young people and boost their project skills well before they enter the world of work. Through a new Project Skills GCSE, pupils will be able to practice the many transferable skills that working on a project brings.
