We know employers are looking for skilled leaders, problem-solvers, communicators, innovators and team players. Students might be asking themselves ‘Which jobs require these skills?’ and ‘Which ones am I good at?’.

In this highly interactive session at the Guildhall, students will hear from a range of volunteers about their jobs and how these essential skills of communication, teamwork, creativity and problem-solving cut across all jobs.

Students will rotate to different “skills stations” peopled by workplace volunteers, where they will take part in a quick-fire activity to flex that skill and market it.  After a full rotation, students will then have the chance to speed network with the volunteers for more in depth Q&A, and to hone the all-important workplace skill of networking.
