Could you be a young food poverty campaigner?

An interactive session given by the project coordinator of Children’s Righr2Food – a UK-wide youth-led initiative that works to ensure every child in the UK has access to affordable and nutritious food. Over the last few years we’ve been working to make big changes – from tackling holiday hunger with Marcus Rashford to campaigning to stop junk food adverts targeting young people on TV and online.

We will use the session talk about some of these issues in more detail, the reason why we set up the campaign, the challenges and successes and hear about what young people with an interest in campaigning can do to get more involved.

We will start with an overview and presentation and then plan some break-out sessions so it would be useful to have an idea of how many attendees we will expect.

We will end the session with time for questions and feedback.

This session is suitable for secondary age pupils.

To book tickets for a teacher accompanied by a group of pupils, please book 1 TEACHER TICKET PER TEACHER and indicate on the booking form how many pupils will be joining.
