Careers and Skills in the Creative Industries (virtual)

A session exploring the roles and skills involved in the creative industries, led by London Symphony Orchestra and London Screen Academy.

The London Symphony Orchestra performs regularly in London, in the UK and abroad, delivers a range of learning programmes through LSO Discovery and regularly records for studio albums and film soundtracks. In this session you will hear about the roles, jobs and skills involved in running a professional music ensemble behind the scenes.

The London Screen Academy (LSA) is a free to attend state-funded sixth form academy for 16 – 19 year olds, based in Islington, set up by the makers of Top Boy, the James Bond films, the Harry Potter series, Baby Driver and many more; to diversify the industry.  In this session, students will learn about the range of jobs and skills in the industry and how LSA can support a career journey into the world of film and TV.
