A sector which is always in high demand, has good earning potential, involves a variety of roles from hands-on work to project management, offers opportunities for creativity, has a range off pathways including apprenticeships and can lead to entrepreneurship is the skilled trades. In this session, students will have the opportunity to hear from a range of trades and roles, and discover just how wide the opportunities are in the trades.

This session will also tackle gender stereotypes and show just how open the trades are. Students will also be given the opportunity to ask their own questions to find out what it is like being a skilled worker in a hands-on profession.
