Apprentice19

THIS EVENT IS MORE SUITED TO YEAR 9 STUDENTS, ALTHOUGH STUDENTS IN YEAR 8 ARE WELCOME

Apprentice 19 is an initiative of the Stationers’ Company, the Livery Company representing the content and communication Industries. This event builds on the success of Apprentice 18 held at Ravensbourne University in June 2018. The emphasis was on Print, Media and Digital and resulted in an impressive number of new apprenticeships and opportunities for work experience. Our objectives for Apprentice 19 are to continue to raise awareness of apprenticeship opportunities in our industries and other sectors and to link potential employers to schools/academies from across Greater London. We hope this will provide pathways to employment for a diverse group of young people and a brighter future for our industries and services. It is envisaged that approximately 60 companies and several thousand students will attend Apprentice 19. Participating companies include Google, BBC, Pearson, The Evening Standard, The Telegraph, M&G Investment, Capgemini, Barclays, Accenture and many others. These companies must be able to offer apprenticeships or work experience. Existing apprentices will attend to talk about their experiences to the students.
