The London-based European HQ is home to 4000 UK employees; the building also houses the restored ruins of the Roman Temple of Mithras, originally discovered in 1954. London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE is a cultural space that showcases an immersive experience of the ancient temple, a selection of the remarkable Roman artefacts found during recent excavations, and a series of contemporary art commissions responding to one of the UK’s most significant archaeological sites.

This session, aimed at pupils aged 15-18, will consist of a guided tour of Bloomberg’s European HQ, the most sustainable office building in the world, providing insight into the company and the development of the building. It will also include a tour of the restored Temple of Mithras, the City’s only Roman temple, which is now positioned beneath the building as part of the cultural hub London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE. The session will conclude either with a speed interview or roundtable session with employees from creative departments across Bloomberg. Students will learn about apprentice opportunities, the varied creative roles within the company as well as art and museum management, through in-depth discussions.
